Dr. Scott Bolz D.C., CCSP, CES
Dr. Bolz takes a holistic approach to care by treating his patients using various chiropractic and physical medicine techniques, while emphasizing the need to strengthen the whole body through targeted rehabilitative exercises. Dr. Bolz strives to incorporate the best and most cutting-edge treatment modalities available into his office.
Dr. Bolz graduated from Texas Chiropractic College in 1996 and began his practice in the Spring area. Since that time, he has expanded his practice and scope by continuing his education and certifications, particularly those modalities aimed at sports recovery and rehabilitation. Dr. Bolz is certified by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians as a (CCSP) Certified Chiropractic Sports Practitioner. Dr. Bolz has extensive training in treating injured athletes both on and off the field. Dr. Bolz is an upper extremity, lower extremity and spine certified ART (Active Release Technique) provider and a member of the ART Ironman Provider Network. Dr. Bolz is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES). Dr. Bolz is also certified Graston Technique provider (soft tissue manipulation). Dr. Bolz is Level 1 TPI Golf Certified. Dr. Bolz is FRC (Functional Range Conditioning) certified in advanced rehab techniques. Dr. Bolz is certified to perform dry needling, an important modality to healing new and old injuries alike. He has special interests in exercise physiology, sports injury rehabilitation, and post-operative rehabilitation. He works closely with some of the top orthopedics in the greater Houston and The Woodlands areas. Dr. Bolz is also a Certified Personal Trainer which compliments his design of specific weight training programs and nutritional programs for his patients.
Being a believer in rehabilitative and strength training modalities, Dr. Bolz expanded his rehabilitation facility and The Rehab was born. The Rehab is just steps away from the main office of Spring Chiropractic and offers more space and cutting edge equipment for rehabilitation and strength training.
When not in clinic, Dr. Bolz enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters on the soccer fields and basketball courts, at school activities, and most importantly, in the mountains where they enjoy skiing, hiking, biking, and fly fishing.
Dr. Rudy Rivas, D.C., FRC
Dr. Rivas obtained a dual degree from Texas Chiropractic College, with a Doctorate in Chiropractic and a Bachelors degree in Human Biology. Unlike conventional medicine, which focuses on attempting to treat disease and symptoms once they occur, Dr. Rivas emphasizes on improving your health in an effort to reduce the risk of pain in the first place. Dr. Rivas’ main focus is to help his patients achieve and maintain optimal health. With thirteen years of chiropractic experience, Dr. Rivas leaves “no stone unturned” in order to fully understand what your problem is and will prepare a treatment plan to best improve your health. His main goal is to provide all his patients with the complete support they need to live their lives fully.
Dr. Rivas is trained and certified in Graston Technique and myofascial release. He also has extensive training in neurodiagnostic studies in the field of neurology. Dr. Rivas obtains multiple certifications in nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, and intraoperative neuromonitoring for spinal surgeries.
Dr. Tyler Borstmayer
Away from the office he enjoys staying active by lifting weights, playing hockey, golf and tennis. He also enjoys exploring the Texas outdoors though hunting and fishing. When not being active he enjoys reading and listening to his favorite podcasts.
Dr. Tyler has been receiving regular adjustments since he was 12 years old. It was a hockey injury that originally led him to chiropractic care and he has reaped the benefits ever since.
