Graston Technique

The Graston technique is an innovative type of manual therapy that uses specialized ergonomic tools that gently massage and scrape the skin. This technique uses a set of stainless steel instruments to effectively break up scar tissue and fascial restrictions in order to help soft tissue injuries in connective tissues, muscles, neurological tissues, and skin.

Because it is effective for soft tissue injuries, such as repetitive stress injuries, sprains, strains and subluxations, this soft tissue mobilization technique treats a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including quadriceps pain, rotator cuff pain, carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and even headaches.

The Graston technique has had proven results for patients with soft-tissue injuries, whether chronic or acute, and also post-surgical conditions due to the many benefits that it provides, such as:

  • Increased blood volume and flow in affected areas to enhance healing.
  • Decomposition of collagen cross-links.
  • Increased cellular activity for good health.
  • Reduction of inflammation processes.
  • Pain reduction for a better quality of life.
  • Increased mobility and ability to perform daily tasks.

Thanks to the experience of famous chiropractors located in the beautiful town of Spring, TX, such as Dr. Scott Bolz, you will receive preventative and regenerative care techniques that will provide you the healing factors your body needs to face new challenges in your life.
